Today I saw Castle Greyskull (and the Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam). Seriously…

The mighty Cringer and Adam (aka He Man and Battle Cat) were suuuuuper busy today battling evil on the banks of the river as we sped on our boat towards the Cu Chi Tunnels from Ho Chi Minh. Seriously. Check out Castle Greyskull…

I was AMAZED!!!

No one was actually able to tell us which force of greatness put this exact replica here in the middle of nowhere in Vietnam, but when compared to the REAL Castle Greyskull, it’s not half bad. See:

Pretty similar, huh? This was my face when we sped past:

boatI was pretty excited by Castle Greyskull.

Anyway, when we reached the Cu Chi Tunnels it was a whole different world. Forces stronger than Skeletor were at work here, not too long ago, and it was pretty eye-opening to get this history lesson whilst here in such an awesome country. These tunnels were pretty much home to over 16,000 people and used by Viet Cong soldiers as hideouts during the war. The soldiers hunting them had no clue they were down there making weapons from their bombs, fixing each other up in makeshift hospitals and making millions of booby traps. How kick ass is that? He Man would be proud. Honestly, I have a LOT of respect for the Vietnamese and this country. It’s come so far in such a short amount of time AND someone still had time to build the Castle Greyskull.

I made this video:

Respect, Vietnam (by the power of Greyskull) x
